Biography

Born and raised in Chicago, IL., Josh enlisted in the Marine Corps in 2012 as a Motor Vehicle Operator. He was stationed at the Marine Wing Support Squadron in Yuma, Arizona before transitioning to the U.S Department of State’s Marine Corps Embassy Security Guard Group. There, Josh received his Top Secret Security Clearance and proceeded to provide armed internal and external security at the U.S Embassies in Macedonia, Mauritania, and Chile. After six years in the military, Josh transitioned his military career into construction management, where he lead the Operations Department for a General Contracting Construction firm in the Chicagoland area.

Josh chose to attend Mendoza’s Two-Year MBA program for Notre Dame’s renowned support of the military, its robust alumni network, and its mantra of “Using Business as a Force for Good”, which aligns with his primary goal of advocating for veterans through business. Josh is currently pursuing a career in management consulting post-graduation. He will be spending this summer (2022) with PwC as a Senior Associate in their Delivering Deal Value (DDV) division in New York City.
