Biography
Why did you choose to be involved with the Club?
One of the reasons I choose Notre Dame for my MBA was the diverse range of people in the program. It’s harder in a corporate environment to engage with different affinity groups, particularly with long hours, so I felt it was important to engage with people with different experiences and backgrounds. I would gain insights to help myself understand people better as I become more senior in my career, but also perhaps help others with my own experiences. Veterans have selflessness, drive, and teamwork in abundance, so there is not a better group to be involved with for community efforts and social aspects.
Do you have a connection with the military?
All men on my father’s side are career United States Navy, and British Army on my mother’s side, so I grew up around bases and the community. Due to sports injuries at various stages, I pursued a career in finance instead.
How are you involved with Notre Dame?
I am a first-year student in the two-year MBA program with a concentration in Investments.
What was your career background before coming to Notre Dame?
Investments. I was most recently with CIBC Private Wealth Management.
If you are a student, what is your career goal post-graduation?
Investment banking
